Hi Grace,
Enjoyed the presentation greatly and sorry we didn’t get to speak after. Above is the link to my blog. I too used to work in St. Pete where I co-founded and was Managing Director for Gypsy Productions a theatrical alternative for three years.
I wish some of our program officers and execs could see your presentation as we are just now celebrating our Centennial at Rockefeller and one of the issues going forward is a lack of source material. In years past officers worked in the field, kept diaries and filmed footage. In our modern electronic age we are missing those pieces of our work and the archive center that put together our Centennial website worries about the visual records that may not exist for our second 100 years.
I think our officers should be encouraged to use their Foundation issued phones and even to travel with Flip cameras when possible to capture the work we do in a more visual, visceral fashion!
Best, DON
Thanks Don! Let’s keep talking!
So nice that you wrote!
