This story below published in The New York Times tells the tale of how persons with intellectual disabilities can sometimes be caught in a never ending cycle of neglect and abuse. I wanted to offer this piece for review by my blog readers because it has video woven into the article along with photography and some really great writing. I found the subject matter, at times, hard to digest, but this is a story that we all need to hear, this is a subject that needs awareness!
